God alone is Sovereign

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

Anna Grace - January 4 - Update #6

We saw our little girl following surgery. It was shocking to see her with her chest open but we are thankful that the morning's surgery went well. The doctor said that we specifically can pray that she is able to urinate the same amount of fluid that she takes in, this should keep the swelling down and enable them to close her chest sooner.

Brian is heading back up to the hospital & I am going to try to get some rest. Thank you for continuing to pray.

I heard about you from Kelley and have been praying for you since she shared about your little girl. I just found your blog and have shed some tears for you as I've read about your sweet little girl. I am continuing to pray, asking the Lord for healing for your daughter and peace and rest for you and your husband. Your faith in the Lord during this time is an amazing testimony. Continue to lean on Him and let Him carry you. I will be checking back often to see how your sweet baby is doing and to find out how I can continue to pray!

AS I read in Luke 4 today, I reflected on God's perfect timing in everything. I prayed His perfect will for Anna Grace. I prayed for you as you await these crucial hours after surgery. I am praying specifically for the surgery to be a success, NO INFECTION, a short stay on the ventilator- I know how hard it is to watch your baby on a vent. I pray for rest for you and Brian tonight. Rest in our heavenly Father' embrace. Krisila Foster

Today is Tuesday and I hope it finds you all well. I find myself with prayers in my head even at my busiest times of the day. I know God is with Anna Grace and you as well for He is a glorious God! I will continue to pray and know he will hear me. Thanks for the updates.

Hi!
My name is Kadie Laughlin and I heard about your sweet little girl from a mom in our MOPS group who is friend with someone in yours. We have been praying for Anna Grace and I am SO thrilled to hear that they are closing her chest up today. Praise God! I can not imagine the emotions that you two as parents are going through, but to see that you are not swayed by them, but instead are holding tight to the One who carries us through is awesome! You are a true testament of faith and God's good work in your lives. Thanks for being a light for Him and encouraging me too!
I am so glad that Ashley was able to come and visit and pray with you guys yesterday! Please let me know if there is anything else our MOPS group can do for you guys while you are here! Big or small we would love to be able to help you guys! Looking forward to hearing more good news on Anna Grace!
