In The Presence Of My Enemies

I just finished a great book about the trials and tribulations of Martin and Gracia Burnham. Who are the Burnham’s you might be asking? Well Martin and Gracia Burnham were missionaries in the Philippines who were taken hostage on May 27, 2001 by a radical terrorist Muslim group called Abu Sayyaf and held captive for one year in the jungles of the Philippines.

If you are struggling with anything in your life, this book will help you put things into perspective and find encouragement. Gracia gives the details of their daily struggles in a real life gritty first hand experience. This book is a easy read and I highly recommend it. Read it!
