Maia passed away today at around noon in the PCICU at MUSC. She was very comfortable, peaceful and in no pain at all. Shannon and I held her very close to us and were with her every step of the way.

We are surrounded by family, friends and our Church, but most of all we feel surrounded by God. Thank you for your support and kind words. We read every single one of them. Details about a service will be posted here as soon as we have them.

You should know – Maia was flat out beautiful today.
