To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Tina Bentley and I am applying for Medicaid coverage because I am expecting a baby on January 6, 2010. This baby I am carrying has been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome. This is a very serious heart condition that is fatal if left untreated.
I am currently being seen by an Obstetrician who specializes in high risk pregnancy and we will also begin meeting with Pediatric Cardiologists as well as Pediatric Surgeons in the coming weeks. Our doctor has advised us to do whatever is required to obtain Medicaid coverage to cover these maternity expenses as the health insurance policy that my husband and I have does NOT have a maternity benefit. We have been paying all maternity expenses out of pocket which I am afraid we will be unable to do for much longer considering the cost of the specialist visits and tests that our doctor has advised us we will need.
I am a desperate mother in need of assistance for her unborn child. I am praying daily for God to heal my unborn baby, but if He chooses not to do so we certainly have a long road ahead of us including many doctors visits with specialists, many tests as well as surgeries all before the baby is even born.
I thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for your consideration of our application of maternity benefits through Medicaid. I certainly welcome your phone call or perhaps a face-to-face meeting to discuss this in further detail. Any assistance you can give us in this process would be most welcome.
Sincerely,
Tina Bentley

Tina I think that is a very sincerely written letter that will capture the heart of the reader. My prayer is that all of your financial needs will be met either through medicad or any other form the Lord chooses ( He is on your side and will take care of you). Luke 12:24 "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?" God will meet your every need. Love y'all. Choose JOY in the midst of this trial.
