God alone is Sovereign

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

Anna Grace - February 3

We made it to the pediatrician's office this morning :) We are so blessed to have a Christian pediatrician who has been praying for Anna Grace through this journey with us. He was thrilled to see us there this morning and we were thrilled to finally be having our first "regular" doctor's appointment. So, our little one weighed in this morning at a whopping nine pounds even!!!! Other than having a "special heart" she is a very normal baby. We will be visiting him again next week for a follow up, but so far so good :)

We had a pretty good night last night too. Mee-maw & Pos as well as Mee-Mee all came to visit and help. It was much appreciated and Mommy got to have a shower AND blow dry her hair :) Anna Grace slept well last night and went right back to sleep following each feeding. I'm hoping to catch a nap this afternoon as well as continue to put my house back in order - it's crazy how much unpacking there is to do after bring gone for 6 weeks!!!!

So... Cardiologist on Friday.... other than that I am hoping it will b e a pretty uneventful week!

Glad to hear Anna Grace's first cardiology appointment went so well! I'm happy the doc was thrilled. Just curious, do you guys see Dr. Horne or Dr. Raunikar or one of the other guys at their practice? Chase sees Horne and we love him.

How wonderful that you had some help and were able to take a shower AND dry your hair! I know how wonderful it is to be back home after going through the roller coaster journey you guys experienced in Charleston. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers!

God bless!

Hi I just found your blog doing a google search for HRHS. I have a 5 year old who has hypoplastic right heart, pulmonary valve atresia and Ebsteins anomaly. I know exactly how you must be feeling now, as I have been there myself. Be glad that you are home - and having "regualar" doctors appointments, though it will be a while before things seem more normal and you don't have to worry so much about your little one.

PS have you joined the Hypoplastic Right Hearts group at hypoplasticrightheart.org? I am a member there, and it is SO wonderful to talk to other heart families who have kids with the same issues yours does, and talk with adult survivors also.
